I'm planning on joining a couple of classes that are physical dance/martial arts but my main goal is to get fit and healthy. I want to be able to run for more then 5 seconds without coughing my lungs up.

Muscle Fatigue Problem?

Hi,

Basically when I work out I notice a rapid decrease in the weights I use. For example, last week I went to the gym and could bench press 50 for 8 and I did this at the start of my workout, yesterday I went to the gym and bench pressed in the middle of my workout and could only do 20 for 5.

It's a very rapid decrease and I don't understand it. I have been going gym on and off since October and have been going straight for the last 2 months. Also my diet isn't great but it's hardly bad, I eat certain amounts of fruit and vegetables daily and also take in quite a bit of carbs.

Does anyone know how to solve a problem like this as I can barely find anything on the internet apart from sodium carbonate, and I don't know which products that is a part of.

Any ideas to solve this is great.

Thanks.

'stress Tummy'

Hi I've heard that stressful situations can increase cortisol and increase the amount of fat stored in your abdominal area. If this is true, how would I be able to remove it?

I've read before that you can't only slim down in one area of your body but I'm not overweight.

Any ideas anyone?
Also, my arms are quite chubby, what exercises can I do to slim them without making them look too muscly?

Cheers

What Protein Drink Should I Drink?

Hi all,

I have been looking at a lot of other topics and this seems to be like the most common question asked in this section but I was browsing and I saw this picture on a thread

What kind of protein drink or work outs should I be doing to get like that?

Im thinking this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maximuscle-Promax-Strawberry-Protein-Powder/dp/B000OC1U4Y

or possibly this one http://www.thesupplementstore.co.uk/protein_powders/gasparimyofusionprobiotic2kg.htm

But I dont know about the protein drinks and what the differences are in 908 gram ones and 5KG ones for example? I have been going to the gym for almost a year so I think a few more years of 5 day work outs but knowing what is the best drink seems to be a hard choice as there are so many options and they all claim to be the best.. I hear people talking in the gym about protein drinks that where like jelly and really strong or is that for body builders the stronger the better?

I tried some whey protein drink a while ago and it run out but I want to try something different strawberry flavour only though.

Help 1St Timer With Fat Burners

Hi all, first post here.

I come across this website through a quick google.

My situation is that I have joined a gym again after a few years out and am now getting back into my fitness.

I wanted to ask a few questions about these fat burners and muscle gain protein supplements.

I never used anything like these before but obviously seems to of kicked off big time in the last few years and seems to be an extra you take to the gym along with your bottle of water!

Do they actually work? They sound promising. My brother has had pretty decent results with a muscle protein drinks (the big tubs). However I wanted to first lose my belly and then go onto the weights properly so I will mainly be concentrating on cardio, which leads me to my questions about these fat burners.

Is this the correct way to go about things. Lose the weight then gain the weight in muscle? Has anyone got good experiences with these fat burners? I would be looking to do a natural workout for around a month and see what results I get and then maybe move on to the burners. Do these supplements only work best for hardcore gym goers? My weekly routine is 2 evenings in mid-week going to the gym for an hour or so, followed by some swimming and steam room. I also play football mid-week. Also probably back in the gym 1 weekend for a couple of hours.

Has anyone had a similar situation in which they could offer me some help or advice about my situation?

Thanks
