Hi, I have just got some Reflex xxl matrix which I am hoping will help bulk me up

I have taken creatine before and read carefully about it before giving it ago. When I tried plain creatine it stated not to keep taking it for more than 8 weeks. Although xxl matrix also contains creatine it doesn't seem to be taken in the same way (several servings a day for loading etc) and there is no statement about how long you should take it for.

If anyone here has used this product before and is willing to give me some advice before I start taking it I would appreciate it.

Cheers

Hi Cookie

I think it says on the tub you shouldnt use it for more than 10 weeks and then stop for a few months. I have just started using again as I found it great last time. My training partner is using it the moment and like the gains hes had from it.

Hi Andy, thanks for the reply.

I just checked the tub and it doesn't say anything about 10 weeks. It just mentions about taking it two hours before training and after, for the first week. I suppose the 50 servings tub is under two months worth so maybe they just expect you to finish the tub and leave it for a few months.

Hi Cookie

Sorry I was actually looking at a Tri-matrix tub, which I am also going to use. My last tub of XXL-Matrix lasted me about 2 months.

Cookie I wouldnt take it longer than 2 months, just finish the tub. However I would carry on taking just plain glutamine after this period.

What would the plain glutamine do? I'll have to look into getting some

One last question! I was working out a training plan for the next couple of months to take advantage of the fact that I will be using the XXL matrix. I remembered that i'm due to go on holiday for a week at the end of this month. Would there be a big problem with taking a break from the XXL matrix for a week and then resuming it when I get back? Maybe go back to taking two doses on training days for a week when i'm back?

Cookie taking a break form creatine or training wouldnt be a problem. Glutamine is an essential amino acid used for muscle growth. Its in the xxl matrix but I would take it all the time.

Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if I should go back to two doses of XXL matrix on training days for a week when i get back, to load myself up again. Or just stick to taking one dose after training

Cookie, if its just a week stick to the stated dose so I wouldnt bother trying to reload.

Hello. I have just started working out. Is it worth buying something like this to help me build muscle?

How long have you been training LJay? whats your diet and routine like. While xxl matrix is an excellent product its useless if all the other 'pieces of the jigsaw' are not right.
