Hi , I used to play rugby but stopped about 5 month ago because i felt it was giving me an odd shape. i have gained weight but still kept up a little jogging. I have now joined a gym and am hoping to get a leaner shape. I just want to really hit the cardio so i have started doing 15 of most of the machines. I suppose what i want to know is if this is the best thing for me to get a different shape or am i going to go back to how i was which was quite leg heavy , i'm ok on the nutrition front i have alot of muscle memory because i used to run as a young teen so whenever i train it just comes back but i am wanting a less erm masculine shape . would it be a better option to try some classes like aerobics or some of the dance stuff or is either way my calfs going to look huge again. i'm also cutting my carbs on an evening and upping my protein.

What do you mean by masculine shape? Too much upper body muscle? Too much fat in general? Etc

Try to be a bit more specific about where you are and where you would like to be and I'll see what I can do for you.
