clothing Gym Clothing - What should i buy?

4 posts in this topic

Hey Everyone! I am in the process of organising a gym membership and could use some advice on a selection of clothing to purchase or whether I actually need to purchase any clothing. Any links to any good value gym clothing or a list of possible clothing items to purchase to make the gym experience a little easier would be amazing! This is my fist post so hello to all those in the forums and community!  I am sure you will hear from me in the coming weeks and months!

Cheers All for any help and advice you can provide!

Shoes/trainers for whatever type of exercise you plan to do - thick heel to absorb impact for walking & jogging or a thick sole for indoor gym work.

T-shirt and shorts from a sports shop should do.

We look forward to your future posts!

Hi VoidTrance,

I would echo what Legitt says.  Really do not need anything beyond that unless you are venturing into more specialist training.  I buy my gym wear online usually from Amazon.  I can often find discounts on Amazon

I think the important thing about gym clothing is that you wear something that is comfortable but you also look in. You want to feel comfortable in the gym in order to get the best workout and part of that is feeling confident in the way you look. That's why I'm currently trying to launch a fitness clothing range with that exact ethos!

So yes, comfort important and also looks!
