I prefer the two as well! They're both fun and challenging!

I did this workout today on the treadmill and cross trainer which really got my heart pumping and having finished I really felt a sense of achievement roughly loosing 10-15 calories for each minute completed (well according to the machine anyway).

Treadmill:

5 minutes at 7km/h fast pace walk

30 second break or proceed to next step.

5 minutes at 10km/h medium jog

30 second break or proceed to next step.

5 minutes at 7km/h fast pace walk

THEN:

60-120 second break normally I use this time to clean machine down for next user and get a drink of water.

Either repeat on treadmill or move to cross trainer.

Cross trainer (where maximum effort level is 25 adjust accordingly):

5 minutes at level 14

30 second break

5 minutes at level 13

30 second break

5 minutes at level 15 (if I'm able no less than level 12)

Then either stay on cross trainer or back to treadmill if I was able to advance to 15 use 15 as start level e.g 15 for 5, 14 for 5, 16 for 5. I have yet to try this starting at 15 will try tommorow :)

Hello!!

My favourite is definitely high intensity interval training in the form of sprints. I do 30 seconds off 30 seconds on. I enjoy it because its fun and hard work, i like how it really makes you break a sweat which feels great.

Some great input here!

The best form of cardio is clearly the form that you enjoy and do regularly :)

With all the benefits you get from cardio, it's always worth doing.

Glad to hear everyone is making time for it!
